INTEGRA aims to develop and implement a novel integrated breeding technology platform to support generation of high-yielding, climate- and site-adapted oilseed rape hybrids. Two major strategies will be combined and integrated in INTEGRA: I) genomic-phenomic prediction of hybrid performance in target types of environments using extensive data from new inbreds (prediction, selection and combination of favorable inbred parents), and II) generation of new genetic variants in elite backgrounds through TILLING and editing of key genes towards improved expression of important target traits.

INTEGRA is a highly interdisciplinary project that embarks on a combination of partners with complementary expertise and that uses extensive prior data sets generated in multiple previous / ongoing public-private-partnership projects.

WP1.1 Project Coordination

•Representation of the consortium internally and externally

•Interconnection of partners and dissemination and flow of information internally as well as to the public (meetings, collboration platform(s),website, social media)

•Progress monitoring and facilitation jointly with  the Project Steering Committee (PSC) formed by the PIs of the partners

WP1.2 Data Management

•Coordination of the INTEGRA research data management housed at IPK as well as data flow, and data publication towards FAIR data management
